Pass it On Project by BABC Member Columbia Bank: “We’re paying the bill. They’re paying it forward”
Earlier this year, BABC Member Columbia Bank launched its Pass it On Project. In this community recovery effort, Columbia Bank is paying over 350 Northwest small business clients more than $500,000 to provide goods and services to community members that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Pass it On Partners are providing services from veterinary care, to groceries, haircuts, meals, auto services, home repairs and more.
Here’s just one example of how local small businesses are partnering with Columbia Bank to Pass it On: Island Soul Rum Bar and Soul Shack is passing it on with free Caribbean soul food for workers at the Rainer Valley Food Bank in Seattle, WA.
