February 2023 Message from the Chair

Dear Members and Friends, Where do we begin this month as we have been busy reaching out to you, our members and partners, with the great pleasure of talking directly with many of you to see how we can be fully supportive of your business and networking ambitions with us. For example, working in collaboration with our Australian friends at AACC-PNW we provided an opportunity to meet their US Ambassador in a roundtable with His Excellency, Arthur Sinodinos at The Rainier Club in Seattle and we have started our Sundowner series with them to relax and network together. On your behalf we attended the Global Trade Conference co-hosted by our sister BABN Chapter in Birmingham, UK. and at the North American Roadshow with the new UK Department of Business and Trade, West Coast and regional teams in Cambridge,UK. The B2BeeMatch platform, an official BABN partner, has been launched this month so please take advantage of the free to use platform across our network. We are also proud to announce our British American Series with partners Trade Horizons begins with the first virtual event on March 30th for those looking for market entry guidance and practicalities. There's much more to come as we seek to further expand our collaborative approaches with our Corporate and Patron members along with local Chambers of Commerce in the PNW. In addition, The BABN conference for this year has been announced and will be in London, UK on June 13th. The week beforehand we will also be present in Farnborough, UK, for the Space-Expo June 7th-8th. So please let us know how we can be of service for you or better still come along yourself and take part in the incredible opportunities these represent for high-level networking.
