About Us

A leading transatlantic business trade association

British-American Business Connections (BABC-PNW) is the leading transatlantic business trade association in the Pacific Northwest and part of the BritishAmerican Business Network (babn.org - see below). Our work is focused on areas that strengthen the economic corridor between the United States and the United Kingdom by supporting policies and actions that protect and enhance the environment for transatlantic trade and investment on behalf of our members in the Pacific Northwest. Our key organizational priorities over the next year that will support that work include:

  • Contributing to the success of a UK-U.S. Free Trade Agreement, as well as other FTA's initiated by the UK with its global partners.

  • Supporting COVID-19 business recovery initiatives, which aid in regional, national, and transatlantic business and community revitalization.

  • Building diversity, equity & inclusion through our organizational leadership, and in our activities and trade association work.

  • Cultivating key global partnerships designed to extend opportunities for additional and broad international engagement and involvement.

  • Supporting sustainable initiatives and endeavors that serve to meet today's changing environment and priorities.

Serving a robust and growing member network

We serve a robust and growing network of member companies and business leaders by fostering relationship and business development, building networks for collaborative regional and international community exchange, aligning trade and governmental interests, offering influential programming, and promoting the regional and transatlantic work and leadership of our members. BABC supports the wider PNW and UK business community who are actively making the transatlantic corridor part of their business growth ambition.
